This book tells the story of a civil servant who served the State of Maharashtra for thirty years in varied and responsible capacities—as Deputy Collector, Additional Collector, District Collector, and subsequently as an officer of the Indian Administrative Service, along with several other important assignments.
It is not merely a record of transfers and postings. Rather, it is a reflective narrative of lessons learnt, challenges faced, and decisions taken in the course of public service. At its heart, the book documents a career marked by committed service to the common man and to the deprived sections of society.
